Armed Forces Day 2004
Greenville honors the men and women of the
United States Armed Forces.
The Owens/Kennemore Detachment #1105 Color Guard with Detachment Banner, preparing for the parade in downtown Greenville.
The Colors were carried by Detachment Trustee, Ed Schumacher and Detachment Boy Scout Liason Officer, Al Raymond. Honor
Guards were Detachment Ceremonial Officer, Glenn Lackey and Detachment Sergeant at Arms, Frank "Speedy" Gonzales.
The Detachment Banner was carried by Detachment Commandant, Bob Farris
and Detachment Junior Vice Commandant, Wayne Stinnett.
Honorary Parade Marshal was World War II veteran, Bill Carpenter, riding in a vintage M-151 Jeep.
